What is a circle?
A circle is a community space hosted on OhMy.xin. You can browse posts, articles, replays, and services from the web app or by talking to the circle bot in Mixin Messenger.
The circle bot delivers messages, notifications, and quick links. Tap action buttons on bot cards to open the web app or read this guide anytime.
Webapp navigation
Use the bottom tabs on mobile or the sidebar on desktop to move around the circle.
- Home — browse the post feed, like, comment, and reward posts.
- Services — discover articles, replays, stories, Q&A, members, and red packets under Community.
- Profile (Mine) — your membership, settings, orders, user guide, invite link, and leave option.
Message modes
Current mode for this circle: 📬 Broadcast mode is active. Your messages go to staff only. Messages from the owner, admins, or lecturers reach everyone.
How each mode works
- Default
- Members' messages reach the owner, admins, and lecturers only. Staff reply by quoting a message; plain replies do not broadcast to everyone.
- Broadcast
- Messages from staff reach all members. Quote a message to reply privately to that member. Yesterday's broadcasts compile into a daily replay.
- Lecture
- Staff messages reach everyone and the session is recorded live. Q&A starts closed so audience chat does not reach the stage; hosts open it with /qa on. A replay is created when lecture mode ends.
- Group
- All members can chat with each other. The circle may apply rate limits and content filters.

Circle features
Posts
Short updates with text and images on the home feed.
Browse posts on Home. If your role allows posting, use the composer at the top of the feed (desktop) or the compose button (mobile).
Comments & likes
React to posts and join threaded discussions.
Tap the comment or heart icons on a post. Nested replies are supported.
Rewards (tips)
Send Mixin payments to thank a post author or member.
Use the gift icon on a post or reward a member from their profile.
Votes
Poll posts with single or multi-choice options.
Tap an option before the deadline. Results update as members vote.
Lotteries
Paid-entry posts with automatic prize drawing.
Pay the entry fee via Mixin to join. For vote-and-lottery posts, you must cast your vote before paying.
Vote-and-lottery posts require voting on the poll before you can pay the lottery entry fee.
Articles
Long-form markdown content separate from the feed.
Open Services → Articles to read. Full text may require membership on paid circles.
Replays
Recorded broadcast and lecture sessions.
Open Services → Replays to watch compiled daily broadcasts or lecture recordings.
Stories
Syndicated feeds from external sources (VIP circles).
Browse Services → Stories for imported items. Like and comment on story cards.
Membership
This circle requires a paid membership. Join from the circle home page, renew from Profile before expiry, and view payment history under Profile → Orders.
Frequently asked questions
- What is OhMy.xin?
- OhMy.xin hosts Mixin bots called circle apps. Owners run communities with membership, content, payments, and real-time messaging.
- How do I open the web app?
- Tap Open Circle on a bot card, open the bot profile in Mixin Messenger, or visit the circle link shared by the owner.
- How do blaze modes work?
- Default mode sends member messages to staff only. Broadcast lets staff reach everyone. Lecture is like broadcast with live recording; Q&A starts closed until staff send /qa on. Group mode lets all members chat with each other (VIP circles).
- How do rewards differ from red packets?
- Rewards tip a specific post or member. Red packets split funds among many claimers who grab from a shared pool.
- How do I leave a circle?
- Open Profile (Mine) and choose Leave, or adjust notification settings under Membership.
